Kush strains, named after their place of origin like the Hindu Kush mountains, are iconic in the cannabis world, much like Indica strains which were originally discovered in the India region. Despite our knowledge that Indicas originate from multiple countries, the naming convention after places of discovery remains. One such strain, resurrected for modern cultivation, is the Special Kush, available as a feminized seed and noted for its affordability and decent quality.

Special Kush thrives in conditions mimicking the rugged terrains of Afghanistan, capable of growing wild and large, potentially reaching over 3 meters outdoors with sufficient space. This strain demands caution indoors to prevent overgrowth. Flowering within 7-8 weeks, it yields about 65-150g per plant indoors under a 600w light, or if grown outdoors in warm climates like Italy or North Africa, it can produce over 550g per plant. The buds are characterized as small, tight, and frosty, delivering a hash-like taste and a full-bodied stone effect, typical of its Indica roots.
