Description
Overview
Copacabana, a pure Brazilian sativa landrace, has been selectively backcrossed to reduce its flowering time, making it more suitable for cultivation both indoors and outdoors. It yields superior crops and can adapt to different growing environments.
Growth Characteristics
Despite its pure sativa genetics, Copacabana grows to a moderate height of about 150cm, fitting well within indoor spaces. It has a flowering period of 10-12 weeks, producing long, resinous buds. Outdoor harvests can yield 600-800g per plant in late October, while indoor growers can expect about 550-600g per square meter.
Aroma and Effects
The strain features a sweet and fruity aroma with a hint of herbal notes. Its effects are stimulating, ideal for energizing activities rather than sleep, making it perfect for a night of dancing.
Care and Cultivation
Copacabana’s nutritional needs are moderate, with a caution against high nitrogen doses which can affect yield negatively. It’s well-suited for Screen Of Green (Scrog) setups, responding well to Low-Stress Training (LST), fimming, and bondage methods to control height.
