The fruity smells in these strains come from terpenes, which are natural aromatic compounds the plants make.

Myrcene and farnesene are two big players when it comes to fruity scents, myrcene's the same one that gives mangoes their musky sweetness. 

Linalool and limonene often show up too, adding layers of fruity sweetness with a touch of herbal edge. Blueberry-scented strains tend to have geraniol, beta-caryophyllene, alpha humulene, alpha pinene, and beta myrcene working together.
