Where wedding cake comes from

Wedding Cake started life in Southern California. Seed Junky Genetics made the original by pairing Triangle Kush with Animal Mints, and that version became known as Triangle Mints #23, or Pink Cookies if you're in Canada.

At the same time, a second line appeared from Cherry Pie crossed with Girl Scout Cookies, creating an indica-heavy hybrid that Barney's Farm later shaped into an 80/20 indica-sativa split. Both carry the Wedding Cake name, but they're not quite the same under the bonnet.

What it smells and tastes like

Wedding Cake hits with a proper dessert vibe. The smell opens with sweet vanilla frosting, then unfolds into earthy pepper, spice, and little touches of ginger and nuttiness.
