Emerald Mountain Legacy was created to preserve the work and memory of Mack Anderson.
You might know him as Mandelbrot or Ras Truth. He was the breeder who first brought OG Kush and Sour Diesel cuts into Humboldt and helped shape what we now call West Coast genetics.
He wasn’t just a collector. He pushed organic farming and sustainable breeding, so many growers see him as a godfather of today’s cannabis scene.
His most famous work is Royal Kush. He described it as an indica-dominant mix of old-school Southern Humboldt Purple Kush, real Sour Diesel, and a pre-Soviet Highland Afghani.
Today the Emerald Mountain Legacy range has about 20 regular seeds. It’s split into two groups: the Emerald Mountain Legacy Line and Mandelbrot’s Family Heirlooms.
The Legacy Line has a little more variation and sits at a friendlier price point. The Family Heirlooms line is more refined over generations, so it’s very consistent.
