The Joint Doctor is the breeder who kicked off the whole modern auto-flower wave with the original, pocket-sized Lowryder.
That line started in the US as a cross of a Mexican variety with a Ruderalis called “Rudy.”
It was then taken to Canada, where The Joint Doctor worked it over again, first with Northern Lights #2 and then Williams Wonder, until he got what he wanted: super-fast, auto-flowering plants that stayed around 12 inches tall.
Lowryder was born and everyone else copied the idea afterward.
Since then, The Joint Doctor range has expanded into a bunch of autos with different flavours and effects, but all with that same “small, fast, powerful” DNA.
