Auto Grape Crinkle, crafted by Mephisto Seeds, is an Artisanal automatic strain that emerged from a 3-way cross involving Canadian Crinkle Cut, Supernatural (Exotic Genetix), and Ripley’s OG. Initially aimed at producing a mold-resistant strain suitable for outdoor growth, it has evolved into a highly coveted strain among extract artists due to its significant trichome production and appealing grapey terpenes. This auto-flowering variety, now in its F5 generation, showcases the potential of its Hash Plant heritage.

Growth Characteristics

The strain exhibits rapid vegetative growth with a somewhat open structure and wide inter-nodal distances. Trichome production begins early in the flowering stage, leading to the development of a large main bud and sizable buds on side branches. Ideally grown indoors at a density of 12 per 1.2m² in 15-liter pots, Auto Grape Crinkle can yield 40 – 75 grams per plant within 55 – 65 days from seedling. Cooler night-time temperatures may enhance its aesthetics with purple hues.

Harvest and Effects

Auto Grape Crinkle is notably easy to manicure, and its excessive trichome coverage allows for the production of rosin even from larger fan leaves. Its flavor profile resembles mulled wine with artificial grape tones and floral notes. It primarily delivers a soothing and relaxing effect.
