Description
Overview
Bred by Paradise Seeds in 1994 and refined in 2002, Dutch Dragon is a predominantly Sativa strain known for its exceptional yield, long sticky colas, and a rapid growth cycle. Originating from South Africa, it thrives in warm climates, growing tall with a sativa-typical structure. Its aroma and taste are prominently citrus and sweet, reminiscent of tangerines, leading to a lasting, clear, and appetite-stimulating high.
Cultivation Details
Dutch Dragon grows vigorously into a tall plant featuring small, fan-shaped leaves and thick, foxtail buds. Indoors, growers may need to manage its height by initiating flowering early. It’s a fast starter yet requires 9-10 weeks to fully mature its sizable flowers. Outdoor growers can expect to harvest by mid October, where the plant can reach up to 9 feet tall. Using the sea of green method, it’s possible to see a significant stretch of up to three feet. To achieve the best results, maintain the pH level of water with fertilizer below 6.
