The Caboose is a well-regarded hybrid strain originating from California, created by crossing Trainwreck with Salmon Creek Big Bud. This strain is notable for its stable feminized seeds, compact growth, and high production potential due to its branch structure and bud size. The buds combine large calyxes with dense growth, exhibiting purple and reddish hues, making Caboose not only commercially appealing but also rare due to its bud structure. It is adaptable to both indoor and outdoor environments, thriving in various mediums, though support for branches in larger plants and high EC levels may be necessary. The Caboose offers a unique smoking experience with its fast-acting effects, mineral taste, and complex aroma of Chinese oranges and spring blossoms, alongside a pungent, metallic scent. Its white resin adds a cosmetic appeal. However, it’s said to be best suited for relaxation due to its intense, narcotic-like effects, making it less ideal for productive tasks and more for leisure or pre-sleep routines.
