The Ethiopian is a pure sativa landrace from tropical Africa, perfect for sativa enthusiasts and preservationists. It’s known for its tall, strong, and vigorously growing phenotype with excellent resistance to environmental stresses such as moisture, fungus, wind, and heat. Despite its long flowering time, it rewards with a high yield under optimal conditions like strong light intensity and warm temperatures. Its effects are cerebral, sociable, and positive, devoid of paranoia or heaviness, accompanied by earthy, woody, floral, musky, and citrus aromas. Notably, it has a significant THCV content at 2%.

• Terpene profile: It mainly contains the following monoterpenes: high amounts of alpha pinene, followed by beta myrcene, trans ocimene and beta pinene in more moderate quantities, with variability in the presence of small amounts of limonene and terpinolene. Sesquiterpenes: mainly beta-caryophyllene, followed by alpha-humelene, with variability in the presence of small amounts of trans-nerolidol.
• Growing Tips: It can be grown indoors with strong light intensity and with enough space for its development. Recommendations include starting flowering after 15 days from seed, or from clones rooted for at least 7 days, with a 11/13 light/dark photoperiod to encourage flowering and prevent reflowerings or excessive stretching. Ideal for SOG and SCROG setups due to its yield potential. Outdoors, it thrives in tropical, subtropical, and warm coastal climates with mild autumns, up to latitudes of 40º. Optimal growing involves soft NPK levels initially, increased PK from the 3rd week of flowering.
