The origin of Skunk Special traces back to the early ’80s with Sam The Skunk Man in Holland, where the best specimen was selected from 10,000 plants. Known locally as ‘het Sammetje’, it gained fame in Rotterdam before making its way to Amsterdam in the 1990s. The genetic composition predominantly features a Mexican Colombian Sativa, responsible for its distinctive old-school skunk aroma.
