Overview

Super Malawi Haze combines Haze lines with Malawi sativa, forming a potent nearly pure sativa (90%) hybrid. It features a robust growth, high yield, dense and resinous colas, with a superior flower to leaf ratio. Its genetic makeup results in sweet, floral, and woody aromas, enriched by Malawi’s resinous scent.

Phenotypes

• Nevil’s Haze Pheno: Recognizable for its tall stature, vigorous growth, dense flowers, and long reddish/orange pistils. It displays sweet, floral, and classic Haze terpenes. Flowering time is between 85-90 days.
• Malawi Pheno: Stands out with its golden/silverish hue, incredible vigor, and production of dense, resinous flowers. It’s characterized by oily and woody aromas. Flowering time is around 85 days.
• Near-Pure Haze Pheno: The least common, showing a tall and tropical sativa structure, it’s less productive with a flowering time of 90-120 days. It’s valued for its pure Haze traits.

Breeding Goals

The aim is to enhance Sativa Haze breeding by integrating elite Dutch Haze clones with top-tier sativa parental plants, elevating the potency and productivity of future hybrids.

• Terpene profile: It mainly contains the following monoterpenes: high amounts of beta pinene, followed by moderate quantities of alpha pinene, beta myrcene and limonene, small amounts of beta ocimene, linalool and traces of isopulegol, camphene, eucalyptol, terpinolene, gamma terpinene and delta 3 carene. Sesquiterpenes: high amounts of beta-caryophyllene and alpha-humelene, followed by moderate quantities of guaiol and traces of bisabolol, trans nerolidol and caryophyllene oxide.
• Growing Tips: Suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation in warm or tropical climates. Optimal results in SOG or SCROG setups. High nutrient levels recommended throughout the cycle.
