The Space Bud mother, Grateful Seeds’ initial effort aimed at enhancing the Space Jam variety with exceptional resin production, results from a cross with Fruit Joy. Space Jam, a clone-only, indica-dominant variant, is celebrated in Barcelona for its intense raspberry flavor.

Fruit Joy Cross

By crossing with Fruit Joy, known for its Shishkaberry heritage from the Barbara Bud pollinator, the funky berry notes were intended to be solidified in the progeny. This cross resulted in the Star Fruit offspring, which not only retain but enhance the deep berry and papaya notes, surpassing the Fruit Joy #20 cut’s original flavor profile.

Star Fruit embodies a short Indica stature, notable for its remarkably quick flowering period and the production of intense raspberry and papaya fragrance. A testing run has shown a 4.5% return of greasy, rich in terpenes heads, making it an outstanding strain for hash production.
