Overview

K.C. 42, a stable sativa/indica hybrid from K.C. Brains, is derived from New Zealand and K.C. 639 males. This sativa-dominant strain grows tall and thin with light green leaves and chunky buds. Outdoors, it can reach 2.5 m, while indoor plants are more contained, maxing out at 170 cm. K.C. 42 requires additional light and has a longer growing period. It offers a clear-headed, energetic high due to lower CBD and higher THC levels. The strain is resilient against mushrooms, plagues, and tolerates irrigation well, thanks to its New Zealand heritage.

Flowering outdoors lasts about 9 to 12 weeks, with indoor plants maturing faster in just 6 to 9 weeks. K.C. 42 adapts well in both individual and group settings, characterized by a fresh citrus and light hash aroma that intensifies as the buds mature. It boasts a high THC content of 20-22% and exceptional yields—up to 1300 grams per plant outdoors and 150 grams per plant indoors. Harvesting occurs from the end of October through November.
