Out of stock just means a particular seed variety that isn’t available right now.
Maybe it flew off the shelves because everyone wanted it, or the breeder's taking a break to make the next batch, or they've decided to move on to something new.
It happens all the time, especially with the popular stuff or anything released in limited numbers.
Seeds come and go depending on what the breeders are making and what everyone's after. The really popular ones, especially anything that's won a prize or got a big name behind it, can vanish in days.
Breeders like Barney's Farm are always tweaking their recipes, so when something fresh lands, the older versions often get quietly retired.
Then you've got the one-off collabs or special drops from outfits like The Dank SubCool or Purple City Genetics, and those can be gone before you've even heard about them.
We keep a close eye on what's moving and what's sitting still. When a line runs dry, it might pop back up after the next production run, or the breeder might swap it out for an updated take..
What's hot and what's not
You'll find three main types knocking about: feminised, autoflowering, and regular. The trending stuff, whatever's flavour of the month, tends to bounce in and out of stock as tastes shift.
High-yielding autos and fully feminised lines stay popular year-round, while budget-friendly packs are great if you're building up a collection without breaking the bank.
Prices and availability swing around depending on the breeder, so there's always a bit of variation.
What to do when it's gone
Not to worry! If you visit the product page that’s not available, you should see a button to notify you when it comes back in. Once it’s available again we’ll automatically shoot you an email letting you know.
If a line is gone for good it will usually be marked as discontinued. If that’s the case then take a look at the stats we’ve given the strain. They should help you choose something else just as good!
The bigger picture
Availability's always shifting. One month a strain's everywhere, the next it's nowhere. Award winners and hyped releases get snapped up fast, but they also tend to get remade because the demand's there.
Limited editions are the opposite, once the batch is done, that's usually it. Knowing which category a seed falls into makes it easier to decide whether to wait or grab an alternative while you can.
Different breeders work at different speeds, too. Some pump out consistent stock all year, others drop small batches and then go quiet for months.
If you're collecting seriously, it pays to keep an eye on who's releasing what and when, so you don't miss the window.
And if something's out of stock everywhere, it might be worth shooting us an email, sometimes we’ll know if a restock's coming or if the breeder's moved on.
Out of Stock Frequently Asked Questions
It means we don’t have that variety right now. You might need to look at alternatives or wait till we get more in.
Popular ones usually do once the breeder makes another batch. Limited drops or discontinued lines might not, so it depends on the breeder's plans.
They're made in big numbers, but the really popular strains still vanish quickly. Autos and regulars follow the same pattern when demand's high.
Often, yeah. Lots of seed banks stock the same breeders, so just because we’re out doesn't mean they all are. Worth a quick search.
They might want to focus on newer stuff with better traits. Limited collabs are meant to be small runs, so they're gone by design.
Autos are pretty common, but specific strains from big-name breeders can sell out. The high-yielding and beginner-friendly ones usually come back round.
Yeah, prize winners and famous genetics get more attention, so they shift faster. We try to restock them when they can.
We watch what's selling and work with breeders to get the popular stuff back in. We check prices and stock levels daily to stay competitive.
Unfortunately we are not able to accept pre-orders but you can join the list to be notified on the product page.
They're made in smaller amounts than feminised or auto, so it varies. Breeders doing crossing work might focus on regulars, but fewer people buy them overall.
