Description
Overview
Kalichakra is influenced by genetics from South India and the Golden Triangle, named after Indian goddess Kali. This sativa performs well indoors, even in low light, thanks to its adaptability and ease of growth. It’s an excellent strain for beginners, producing plentiful clones for those exploring early flowering to manage plant height or flowering time. Ideal for hydroponics and CO2 enhancement, it reportedly responds well to being tied down for SCROG, or can fit into a SOG setup with minimal effort. It’s noted for its low odour, making it a discreet option for cultivation.
Growth Traits
Kalichakra thrives in indoor settings, under 400W HPS/m2 lighting, reaching 100-120cm. For size management, vegetative time can be adjusted or the top bud pruned. The plants, reportedly requiring sometimes additional support for heavy buds late in flowering, benefit from removal of lower branches before shifting to a 12/12 light cycle to optimize yield and strengthen branches. Flowering can be expedited by shortening light cycles near harvest. It showcases exceptional mold resistance, aiding in the maintenance of a healthy crop.
