Description
Overview
This exotic strain is an intriguing blend of indica and sativa characteristics, tracing its roots to South Asia. It showcases the sturdy, compact growth typical of indicas, with broad leaves and a quick flowering time, alongside traits of Asian sativas like woodsy aromas and taller, more branched structures. It thrives in stable, dry climates with ample nutrients, producing high THC and occasionally high CBD chemotypes beneficial for anxiety, depression, and stress. This genetic line, with its vigorous growth and productivity, is a cherished rarity in modern cannabis breeding, offered to the community for preservation and breeding projects.

- Genetics: 3rd generation Indica-dominant line from Yunnan, a province of southeastern China on the border with Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam.
- Structure: Robust, with short internodes. Indoors with a short growth period, it produces columnar plants with large central buds. Outdoors and with more growth, its develops a well-branched, ball-shaped structure.
- Bouquet: We found 3 main terpene profiles in this variety, which can appear combined in each individual example to a greater or lesser extent. The first is the creamiest and most sweet & sour, reminiscent of the blend of aromas from a Chinese restaurant. The second profile is darker, organic, with incense, and hashish. The first two groups produce denser terpene profiles and are more prevalent in indica expressions. The third, also very organic, but with more woody and floral influence, is more commonly found in expressions tending towards the more sativa side.
- High: Cheerful, expansive and visual at the onset. Warm, pleasant and relaxing in its development and final phase.
- Terpene profile: It mainly contains the following monoterpenes: big amounts of alpha pinene, beta myrcene, limonene and beta pinene, and lower amounts of fenchol, camphene, borneol, ocimene and phytol. Sesquiterpenes: mainly beta-caryophyllene, guaiol and humulene, and traces of bisabolol, caryophyllene oxide and nerolidol.
- Growing Tips: Adapts exceptionally well to indoor grows with artificial light. In order to obtain the best indoor results, the breeder recommends warm temperatures (of around 25ºC) during the growing and the 4 first weeks of flowering. In the last month, lower down moisture and temperature to 20ªC during the rest of the flowering stage. Outdoors, the breeder recommends warm, dry climates. Excellent results throughout Southern Europe. Genetic analyses carried out on China Yunnan show that this variety has a unique genotype, with moderate genetic variability, showing direct kinship with our China Yunnan hybrids: Orient Express and Kali China. Excellent landrace indica to cross with sativa strains, since it easily produces hybrids with enormous yields, fast flowering and interesting aromas and effects. The breeder recommends moderate-high levels of fertilisers throughout the growing cycle, respecting the dry cycles of the substrate, and avoiding excessively long periods of wetness (particularly in the more indica-leaning specimens).
