Hindu Kush originates from the Hindu Kush mountains, primarily in Afghanistan and extending to Pakistan. This 100% Indica has been selectively bred over numerous generations to maintain its original genetics while ensuring quality and stability. It’s well-adapted to harsh climates, thriving at altitudes around 2000m.

Growth Characteristics

This strain grows compact and bushy, making it ideal for indoor cultivation. Depending on the phenotype, it requires a flowering period of 7-9 weeks and can be harvested outdoors by late September to early October. Indoor yields reach 500-550g per square meter, and similarly, outdoor and greenhouse grows produce about 500-550g per plant. Due to its bushy nature, removing some leaves can improve light penetration in indoor setups. Hindu Kush is noted for its consistency, stress resistance, and ease of growing, even for beginners.

Aroma, Taste, and Effects

Hindu Kush is characterized by an earthy and spicy aroma and taste, akin to dark hashish. Its buds are dense, sticky, resinous, light green, and adorned with orange hairs. With high CBD levels and 24% THC content, it’s effective for medical use, particularly for spasms and chronic pain. The strain delivers potent physical and mental relaxation, ideal for evening and night use, with a strong emphasis on heavy body effects and overwhelming relaxation.
