Description
Bahia Black Head Overview
Bahia Black Head, a predominantly sativa hybrid, results from crossing a pure Brasil with two K.C. 606 males, combining the Brazilian Sativa’s qualities with a shorter finishing time. This strain thrives outdoors in temperate zones due to its earlier finishing time compared to other K.C. strains, however, it’s also suitable for indoor cultivation. Outdoors, it grows into resistant bushes approximately 2.5 m tall, while indoor plants remain under 80 cm. Flowering period ranges between 8 to 10 weeks, after which medium-sized buds appear. Initially, the plants have a minimal odor which increases to a noticeable earthy-hash scent as they mature. Harvesting occurs in mid to late August with outstanding yields of 850 gr per plant outdoors and up to 130 gr per plant indoors. Topping at the 3rd or 4th node is reportedly advised to promote heavier bud production. The strain is known for its ease of growth and pest resilience.
