Description
K.C. 39 Overview
K.C. 39 is a highly potent, mostly indica hybrid, resulting from collaboration between Spanish seed selectors and K.C. Brains. This easy-to-grow strain is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, producing dark green, bushy plants. It’s particularly resistant to pests, diseases, and mushrooms, making it an excellent choice for beginners.
Cultivation Details
Indoors, K.C. 39 reaches up to 120 cm and thrives in both pots and soil, yielding up to 200 gr per plant. Outdoors, it can grow up to 2-3 m high in optimal conditions, with yields reaching a remarkable 1000 gr per plant. The plant prefers a sun-baked clay soil and requires a good midday sun location. Harvest time spans from the end of September through October.
Yield and Growth
K.C. 39 is known for its high yields and fast growth, outpacing most sativa strains. The flowering period is relatively short, ranging from 7 to 9 weeks indoors and up to 11 weeks outdoors. The strain emits a pleasant citrus-hash fragrance during flowering, with mature buds presenting a strong smell and covered in THC-rich white sticky hair.
Effects and Medicinal Use
With a THC content as high as 20%, K.C. 39 is among the strongest strains available. Its indica genetics ensure a heavy, relaxing effect, suitable for medicinal use due to its high CBD and lower THC counts compared to other strains.
