This strain gained its popularity largely through Snoop Dogg, originally named ‘Cush’ but renamed for its intense cerebral effects. Its genetics are believed to trace back to Skunk 1 with possible ties to the Indica Afghani landrace, bred initially in Athens, GA, in the ’70s.

Appearance & Flavor

Green Crack produces small, dense buds with light coloring, possibly yellow leaves or purple streaks in colder climates, and rust-colored pistils. It showcases a creamy trichome coating, offering an earthy, woody, and citrus aroma. Its flavor combines a tangy mango inhale with a spicy exhale.

A sativa-dominant strain (about 65% sativa), Green Crack delivers a long-lasting cerebral buzz, energizing users for daytime activities or creative pursuits without Indica’s sedative effects. It can potentially address fatigue, depression, and anxiety at the right doses but may lead to paranoia if overused.

Geared towards novice growers, it flourishes indoors or outdoors in stable conditions. Topping and trimming promote better yield, maturing quicker than most sativas in 7-8 weeks indoors or by October outdoors.
